Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2

fanatec csl elite pedals review

CSL Elite Pedals V2 ( REVIEW )

They look like two identical sets of pedals from Fanatec, but if you look close enough, exciting upgrades and changes were made from the V1 version, That’s why this review will become more like a comparison table between the two pedals, rather than making our impression only on the V2, I mean you can’t just talk about the Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2 without mention the V1, They are the same pedals but with an overhauled load cell brake, new Hall sensors and a refinement on the design.

With this review we want to know whether these are worth upgrading if you already have version 1 or upgrading from a non-load-cell braking pedal set if that is the case. or even other new alternatives that are available on the market right now, sure enough, there is no better time these days to start sim racing the right way with so many products on the market and with so many alternatives you have, and the CSL Elite pedals V2 are just one example of those.

Are the CSL Elite Pedals V2 and V1 the same?

No they are not, you might not find any differences whatsoever many changes were made from one version to another, the load-cell was completely revised, and they definitely improve the way you connect these pedals as well, not to mention the all-new overall experience you will get with sensibilities and adjustabilities.

What’s changed from V1?

Worth the money?

I think the CSL Elite pedals are worth every penny you spend on them, they were completely redesigned with a mid or high-end user in mind, if you are planning to upgrade for an affordable load-cell product, then the CSL Elite V2 is a good option for you.

Our Thoughts

I really like these new pedals, they are coming with new improvements from previous versions, they definitely make changes on the three-pedal set (clutch, brake, throttle), new strong materials and nice design, One thing I like is you can adjust the Load cell sensitivity from 10Kg to 90kg

In general for the price of 300$ you get a really good set of pedals, with a strong Load-Cell, and new software improvements, at the end I think the CSL Elite Pedals V2 Version is a nice addition to your sim racing setup, Worth the money for sure!
